Pyjamas for Days

Ever since I’d seen these Stella McCartney pyjamas ( I’ve been on the hunt for something similar. There were quite a few places that sold similar styles around Christmas time, but they were always out of my size (insert frustrated emoji here).

And then yesterday I finally found some! 😀

So comfortable and perfect for this time of year (part shorts and part long sleeve). The only problem is that I could probably stay in them all day! I don’t think some would call that a problem ha

So I hope you all have a good morning, a good stretch, and a great day!

PS. I didn’t purposely get them in grey, it just happened 😉

Not Quite T-shirt Weather

Spring is finally here, it’s sunny and beautiful but not quite t-shirt weather. I want to shed the quilted and wool jackets for something lighter but without the cost of a cold!

I don’t know about you, but for this weather I opt for a light sweater. It’s almost a T-shirt and not quite wool.

I also choose a slighter bigger and waterproof purse this time of year. I’ve had my Longchamps for years and found fits anything, and I mean anything!

The more you see my posts, the more you’re going to realize the lack of bright colours in my wardrobe…I love them and occasionally buy some but I never end up wearing them. Also, now you know my secret… I don’t blow dry my hair :O call it laziness but I find it unnecessary as my hair is just going to go flat anyways!

What do you wearing this fine Wednesday?

Undying Love for Stripes

It doesn’t matter the season, I’ll always wear stripes (black and white of course). Every time I come home from shopping I realize I keep buying near identical black and white stripped tops… it’s getting a bit ridiculous!

And I can’t get mad at myself for all the repeats because I wear  each and every one of them until they can’t be worn anymore. C’est la vie 🙂

There’s a reason why black and white stripes have been a staple in the fashion industry for decades… they’re chic, stylish, and irresistible! In the words of Leonardo da Vinci “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”

Rainy Day Reads

I had plans today to wake up and go for my long run as I wasn’t able to squeeze it in with the Easter festivities, plus a run seemed necessary after all that Easter chocolate… but it’s been raining since I woke up this morning no that plan was a no go!

Plan B, reading. I’ve just finished reading books from Emma Straub, Kate Mosse, Michelle Gable, and Graham Greene (as I mentioned in my first post, I have a lot of time of my hands lately).

I haven’t yet read anything be Sara Gruen but had heard she is quite a good author so I picked up her newest novel.

What do you use as a book marker? I tend to use the receipt I got with the book, or an old plant ticket. Now to take advantage of this weather, make a cup of tea, and lose myself in this book!

Cookies On My Mind

After obsessing over cupcakes for the past few year I’ve developed an undying weakness for cookies. I could have them for breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, dessert, pre-bed snack, etc.

In time for Easter Holidays I made Cadbury Egg Peanut Butter cookies, hopefully they’ll last till tomorrow!

Go To Purse

I’m sure everyone has a go to purse. Although I probably have too many purses in my closet there is always one that is my go to. It fits everything and more.

This Michael Kors bag has been everywhere with me! It’s so practical and fits for every occasion. Sometimes it can get a bit snug when I have to carry my other half’s things too, but it always works.

I prefer a smaller cross body as opposed to a tote, there’s just too many unnecessary things I would keep in there and then I find I’d be sore from carrying around an extra 15lbs.

So now that you’ve seen mine, what’s your go to purse?

Ps. what an accessory with the outlet in the first photo 😉 #photographyskills

Unfamiliar Ground

This is all new to me. I’m not a writer and I’ve never published more than a post on Facebook. Therefore I apologize in advance if this is not up to par and/or boring.

I love fashion, food, and fun and thought that while I have time on my hands I’ll channel my energy into this blog instead of watching every episode of The Real Housewives that ever existed! Long sentence…

Basically I want to share things I love, see, and do on a daily basis. Life is meant to be enjoyed.

So here is my contribution to the inter web’s ever evolving lifestyle blogs! Stay tuned and cheers!

P.S. why HawklyCoop? Simple, there are Cooper’s Hawks which nest where I live, and they’re beautiful!
